Melissa Soberalski is the founder and managing immigration attorney of Soberalski Immigration Law, a community-centered firm serving clients across Wisconsin.

Her most significant career achievement has been building the firm into a trusted resource for immigrant families, many of whom face significant financial and systemic barriers to accessing legal services. Soberalski has intentionally built a team largely composed of immigrants and individuals with shared lived experience, fostering a culture of empathy, trust and purpose.

Soberalski has been recognized as an AILA Wisconsin Pro Bono Champion and a Wisconsin Super Lawyers Rising Star. She has provided pro bono legal assistance through Voces de la Frontera and the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic and serves as a consultant attorney for the Mexican Consulate in Milwaukee.

She also prioritizes mentorship and professional development, with a particular focus on supporting women, immigrants and first-generation professionals entering the legal field.

Her approach to practice centers on dignity, education, and long-term client support.

“I believe the practice of law is not just about navigating systems, but about creating access, building trust and advocating with purpose,” Soberalski said.
