Linda Vogt Meagher is an attorney and shareholder at Gass Turek, LLC, with a career devoted entirely to medical malpractice litigation spanning 38 years.

Meagher spent 12 years on the defense side, followed by 12 years representing plaintiffs, before returning to defense work for the past 14 years. That breadth of experience on both sides of the courtroom gives her clients a perspective that few attorneys in Wisconsin can offer, informing how she develops case themes and strategies from inception through trial.

During her career, she has also contributed to shaping the law in her practice area, including work on issues related to punitive damages and caps on damages in medical malpractice cases.

Meagher approaches her clients with what she describes as kindness and thoughtfulness, recognizing that litigation is a challenging and often difficult process for all parties involved. She mentors one or two Marquette University Law School students most years and mentors younger attorneys within her firm. She volunteers her time judging high school mock trial competitions and law school competitions.

Her focus remains on helping clients navigate the litigation process with clear communication, ensuring they understand case strategy from the outset and receive real-time updates as matters develop.
