Attorney Amy Ebeling of Ruder Ware in Wausau has been elected to the board of directors of Meritas, a global alliance of independent law firms that serves the legal needs of companies across major jurisdictions and global markets. She was elected to the position from the more than 9,200 attorneys in the Meritas member network and will serve a three-year term with six other lawyers from around the world.
Since joining the firm, Ebeling has played an active role in Meritas, initially serving as Ruder Ware’s Young Lawyer contact and later as Member Contact. She has also participated in numerous Meritas conferences and meetings, deepening her engagement with the network. As a board member, she will participate in strategic planning, member recruitment and development, and the administration of Meritas’ rigorous quality standards, which set the network apart from other legal organizations.
With more than 15 years of experience, Ebeling advises business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and nonprofit organizations on a wide range of business and tax law matters.
