With more than 35 years of experience, James Boyle utilizes his background in mechanical engineering to counsel clients in commercial and intellectual property litigation. Boyle is a founding member and former president of Boyle Fredrickson, a Milwaukee-based intellectual property firm.
His practice spans the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, trade secret misappropriation and copyright infringement. Boyle has litigated these matters in in both federal and state courts.
In 2013, the Wisconsin Law Journal honored Boyle as a Leader in the Law. He is a member of the State and American Bar’s Litigation and Intellectual Property sections, as well as serving on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Intellectual Property Law Association.
