After working at a large law firm and her own practice, Sherilyn Whitmoyer now enjoys focusing on one “client” in her role as vice president and deputy general counsel for Quad, a marketing experience company that removes the complexities of marketing. In her role, she is responsible for many functions, including corporate development and strategy, and serves as the company’s assistant secretary.

“I get to develop a deep understanding of one client and its business and legal issues,” she said. “I have the privilege to work with teams of incredibly talented people and learn from them every day.”

Whitmoyer said she gets to learn something new daily working with subject-matter experts as Quad grows.

The related legal landscape is changing just as rapidly with potential tariffs, AI regulation and industry vertical compliance requirements,” she said. “My role at Quad allows me to use the aggregate of my 25 years of legal experience to craft strategic and legal solutions that help the organization along its transformational growth journey.”

Prior to coming to Quad eight years ago, Whitmoyer worked at the Brady Corp., Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren S.C. and had her own firm.

“For me, inside counsel is my career sweet spot, providing me exposure to sophisticated legal work, daily learning from people I respect and enjoy, and capacity to be an influence in the things that truly matter,” she said.
