I visit the U.S. Supreme Court website regularly. It is an excellent source of information. I didn’t know, until recently however, that for historical materials pertaining to the Supreme Court, that the Supreme Court Historical Society also has a great website. I also have to admit that I didn’t even know there was a Supreme Court Historical Society.
The website contains a vast amount of data including Historical Society Yearbooks, information on how the court work, a great resource entitled “Researching the Supreme Court of the United States: Available Resources for Commonly Asked Questions,” and background on the various justices. The also have gift shop with a wide assortment of items including a CD entitled “The Supreme Court’s Greatest Hits.” It is “a digital audio collection of the 64 Supreme Courts most important cases decided between 1955 and 2001.”
