The terms vigilante and fender bender do not really go together – unless you happen to be a judge in Kenya.

No doubt, there have been occasions when judges in Wisconsin wished they could have climbed over their benches and given an attorney, defendant or member of the audience what for.

But outside of the courtroom, short of stabbing someone in the stomach, how far does judicial authority go?

A member of the judiciary in Wisconsin recently said it’s pretty easy to be a judge in court, but judges also have a responsibility to act like one at the corner grocery store as well.

Or if you happen to crash your Mercedes-Benz into another car on the streets of Nairobi.
