A different map search engine

Most of us utilize Mapquest, Yahoo!, or Google for our primary map searching tool. Each offers wonderful features, like Mapquest’s Gas Prices link. However, I would like to suggest another site to check out. Have you tried Metrobot? I use this search engine to identify what businesses are at a single location. Putting in an address will produce not only a street level map, but also an itemized list of the businesses at the address. Find all the retail shops in a strip mall, places of interest on the block of your hotel when traveling, or the companies in a high rise building. Another great feature is the marketing aspect for businesses. Listings can include direct links to their homepages or additional information. Metrobot’s help page outlines the different aspects of the site. I have a couple questions their help page did not answer. First, how often the information is updated (what if a company moves?). Second, when I recently searched an address of a high rise building the resulting map included numerous radio stations. I know these radio stations are not located at the address, and I am guessing the results may be due to an antenna/booster/tower on the building. Overall, I think Metrobot is great. This webpage can benefit both the searcher and businesses.
