Brian J. Farmer appeals his life sentence without the possibility of parole pursuant to the persistent repeater statute, WIS. STAT. § 939.62(2m)(a)1m., (b)2., and (c) (2017-18), after a jury convicted him of two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child contrary to WIS. STAT. § 948.02(2).
