Ineffective Assistance of Counsel
Following a bench trial in Indiana state court, William Hinesley, III, was convicted of molesting his 13 year‐old former foster daughter, V.V. After exhausting his state court remedies, Hinesley petitioned for a writ of habeas corpus.
Admission of Evidence
Plaintiff Dan Davies sued Chicago police officer Karlen Benbenek for using excessive force when responding to a domestic disturbance at Davies’ home in the summer of 2010.
Sentencing
Following an extensive sting operation by federal law enforcement of a drug distribution ring in Chicago, Charles Tankson was indicted on three counts of distributing 100 grams of heroin and one count of distributing a detectable amount of heroin, both in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1).
Breach of Contract
This case concerns a construction contract dispute. Jacobean Enterprises, LLC entered into a contract with Bob Ewers Contracting LLC for excavation and other tasks related to the construction of an All American Do-It Center in Richland Center.

Armin Wand, III, contends that: (1) the circuit court wrongly denied his pre-plea motion to suppress statements that he made during one interview session with law enforcement; and (2) the circuit court wrongly denied, without an evidentiary hearing, his post-conviction motion to withdraw his pleas.
Breach of Lease Agreement – Damages
This appeal arises out of the termination of a written lease to use farm property entered into by Darlene Hosto, the property owner, and John and Paula Rebhan. Rebhan entered into a three-year written lease with Hosto for the use of several buildings on her farm, including livestock pens where Rebhan held cattle, and land on which Rebhan grew alfalfa and corn.

Ann L. Fenley appeals from a postjudgment order declining to find Robert A. Fenley in contempt, modifying and terminating Robert’s maintenance payments to Ann, and denying Ann’s request that she be awarded credit for the cost of certain home repairs and improvements from the marital residence sale proceeds.
