Milwaukee Judge is retiring March 13, 2026.

Wagner was first elected to the bench in 1988. He is currently serving a six-year term following his most recent re-election in 2024.

The judge is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and received a juris doctor at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Prior to joining the bench, Wagner worked as an assistant city attorney for the City of Milwaukee.

The new judge will complete a term ending July 31, 2027.
