Milwaukee Police investigating battery of officer on Wisconsin Ave. downtown

Listen to this articleMilwaukee Police are investigating battery of a Police Officer on the 200 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Milwaukee.
Authorities said the incident occurred Feb. 18, 2024, at approximately 12:49 p.m.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian female, who is approximately 30 years of age, 5’8”, and 200 pounds with a large build.
She has long black hair and a medium complexion, according to police who noted she was last seen wearing a long black coat, a gray shirt, denim pants and black Adidas shoes with white stripes.
The suspect struck the officer and fled on foot.
