Kim Randall, an executive legal assistant in Godfrey & Kahn’s Milwaukee office, said she really enjoys her work. Whether it’s helping the attorneys she works with on a daily basis or serving as co-captain for the firm’s American Lung Association Fight for Air Stair Climb Team, she usually has a smile on her face, her colleagues noted.

“I really love what I do and who I do it with and I feel like the people I interact with can see that and it spreads,” Randall said. “It pushes and motivates me, which does the same for my co-workers and our external clients.”

Randall supports four of the practice’s busiest attorneys. She takes many process items off their plates and runs them independently, freeing up hours every week for the attorneys to focus more on their clients and team.

“Kim is always the first to lend a helping hand when needed. She can always be counted on going the extra mile without being asked, whether that’s working directly with a client, scheduling important meetings or just being a friendly face,” said Emily McKeown, the firm’s Business Development director.

Randall also stepped up to take leadership roles in many of the volunteer opportunities that Godfrey & Kahn supports, including serving as co-captain of the firm’s Fight for Air Stair Climb Team, participating as a member of the Women’s Leadership Forum and joining the advisory council for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Women Leaders Conference.

“What drew me to the role, more than anything, was the opportunity to help out and be a part of a team, but have a variety of different tasks that could change by the day, week or month,” Randall said. “Plus, I really love the people.”
