One of the reasons that Casey Hoff chose to become a lawyer is that he wanted to help people during their times of need.

In addition to his legal work, Hoff often speaks to community groups to raise awareness about issues in the criminal justice system such as Constitutional rights, treatment courts and the need for fairness.

He has also authored several articles on legal topics for USA Today Network Wisconsin and other media outlets, covering issues such as justice, fairness and the benefits of treatment courts and diversion programs.

One of parts of his job that Hoff enjoys most is problem-solving. Being a criminal defense attorney involves a lot of outside-the-box thinking and finding solutions that may not immediately be apparent.

“Another aspect of the job that I enjoy is helping clients and their families navigate the often daunting and intimidating criminal process and the courtroom,” Hoff said. “Trying to take away, as much as possible, the stress and anxiety of clients, and then ultimately hopefully achieving a good result for the client, is extremely satisfying,” he added.
