La Crosse-based Attorney Dave Fitzpatrick is one of the founding members of Fitzpatrick, Skemp & Butler, LLC, and his practice is devoted to work with Social Security Disability, Personal Injury, and Workers’ Compensation claims, according to the Firm’s website.

Fitzpatrick is involved with professional law associations and improving his skills as an attorney. He is licensed to practice law in both Wisconsin and Minnesota. Fitzpatrick also nationwide practice helping people obtain Social Security Disability.

Fitzpatrick is a current member of the State Bars of Wisconsin and Minnesota, the La Crosse County Bar Association. He has represented more than 2,500 clients in Social Security Disability hearings and received over 34 million in past due benefits, according the firm’s website.

He received his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 1997 and was admitted to practice in Wisconsin in 1999.
Fitzpatrick said relates well to his clients.

“I understand the value of cases and how to negotiate a fair settlement. I make myself available to speak to my clients so they can talk to the attorney handling the claim. I will try to be available for phone calls or call the client back the same day if possible. I am also available by email to answer questions and provide updates,” he said.

“I am very compassionate and try to relate to the changes the accident has made in my client’s life,” Fitzpatrick added.

Fitzpatrick said his family has been influential in his legal career.

“I was inspired by my father, Tom, who practiced in the personal injury field. I received a strong work ethic and compassion for our client’s from watching how he would work on a case, both the communication with the client and the defense attorney or insurance adjuster,” he said.
