JFC approves 4 full-time ADA positions

Wisconsin’s Joint Committee on Finance has approved four new full-time positions for assistant district attorneys. Dane, Brown, Waukesha and Eau Claire counties will each receive one new position.

A grant from the state Department of Justice’s Office of Crime Victim Services will pay for the positions.

The counties made the requests in October. Senate Chair Alberta Darling, R-River Hills, and Assembly Chair John Nygren, R-Marinette, said the Joint Committee on Finance approved the positions with a passive review. In a letter to the Department of Administration’s secretary, they said no objections were raised to the request.
