Lawyers to join committees that help with OLR investigations

The Wisconsin Supreme Court has appointed attorneys to be part of committees that assist in investigations of attorney misconduct around the state.

The court announced Tuesday that the following attorneys have been appointed to the Office of Lawyer Regulation district committees:

District 2 (Milwaukee County)

  • Administrative Law Judge Eric Defort, Milwaukee
  • Bradley Foley of Gutglass, Erickson, Bonville & Larson, Milwaukee
  • Jordana Thomadsen of Thomadsen & Hoeschen, Milwaukee
  • Robert Driscoll of Reinhart Boerner Van Dueren, Milwaukee
  • Nathan Imfeld of Foley & Lardner, Milwaukee

District 3 (Fond du Lac, Green Lake and Winnebago counties)

  • David Schultz of David J Schultz Law Office, Oshkosh

District 4 (Calumet, Door, Kewaunee and Manitowoc counties)

  • Andrew Morgan of Carlton & Morgan, Sheboygan

District 5 ( Buffalo, Clark, Crawford, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, Pepin, Richland, Trempealeau, and Vernon counties)

  • Christopher Zachar of Zachar Law Office, La Crosse

District 6 (Waukesha County)

  • Ed Bremberger of McLario, Helm, Bertling & Spiegel, Menomonee Falls
  • Matthew Fernholz of Cramer, Multhauf & Hammes, Waukesha

District 8 (Dunn, Eau Claire, Pierce and St. Croix counties)

  •  Jenessa Stromberger, City of Eau Claire
  • Kristina Bourget, Wisconsin Independent Network, Eau Claire

District 10 (Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie and Shawano counties)

  • William McKinley, Menn Law Firm, Appleton

District 15 (Racine County)

  • Jill Rakauski, Penn Rakauski, Racine

District 16

  • Brandon O’Connor of Ruffi law Offices, Wausau
  • Craig Olafsson of  Daubert Law Firm, Wausau
  • Robert A. Pirkola of Mouw & Celello, Iron Mountain.

The OLR has 16 of these committees in the state. All members of the committees are volunteers, and one-third of each committee is made up of non-lawyers.
