Candidates for Supreme Court to visit MBA

supreme-courtThe candidates vying for a spot on the Wisconsin Supreme Court will take questions at a lunch forum Wednesday in Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee Bar Association is hosting the noontime forum at 424 East Wells Street in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Joe Donald, Wisconsin Court of Appeals Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg and state Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley all have been invited to attend, according to a news release.

The three candidates are vying for a seat left vacant by the sudden death of Justice Patrick Crooks in September. Gov. Scott Walker appointed Bradley to the post in October until the end of what would have been Crooks’ term. Voters will head to the polls April 5.
