Town of Rome seeking legal services

The town of Rome is looking for a law firm to provide legal services.

The town has 2,700 residents and is south of Wisconsin Rapids. It is governed by a five-member elected town board.

Rome is looking for a law firm that can provide general counsel and help in drafting ordinances, and assist in municipal law and litigation. The attorney would be required to attend meetings as requested.

Proposals will be accepted until 4 p.m. July 27.
