Jennaro joins Davis & Kuelthau

William Jennaro has joined Milwaukee-based Davis & Kuelthau S.C.’s litigation practice in its Milwaukee office.

Jennaro’s practice includes general litigation but will primarily focus on mediation and arbitration across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, real estate, food and beverage, health care, and banking as well as estate planning and disputes. He brings more than 45 years of legal experience to the firm, including service as an assistant district attorney, county court judge and circuit court judge in Milwaukee County.

Jennaro earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School.

Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek’s Enea named to board

Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C.’s Jack Enea has been added to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee’s Board of Trustees.

Enea is an attorney in the Milwaukee office of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek where he is co-leader of the Trusts and Estates Team and a member of the Corporate Transactions and Agribusiness teams. He focuses his practice on business and tax law, estate planning, estate administration, and real estate transactions and development. He is also a licensed certified public accountant.

Enea is a long-time member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County Board of Trustees, as well as a former board member for the West Bend Community Foundation.

Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek adds attorneys

Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek recently added Trevor Currie, Jacqueline Wilcox, Emily Hutchens and Iana Vladimirova to its Corporate and Finance Practice Group; Ari Kasper to its Litigation Practice Group; Laura Malugade to its Human Resources Law Practice Group; and Brianna Schonenberg to its Intellectual Property Practice Group.

Currie is a member of the Commercial Finance, Corporate Transactions and Emerging Companies teams in the Milwaukee office. He earned his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Wilcox is a member of the Corporate Transactions, State and Local Taxation, and Trusts and Estates teams in the Milwaukee office. She earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Hutchens is a member of the Corporate Transactions, Emerging Companies and Securities teams in the Milwaukee office. She earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Vladimirova is a member of the Business Restructuring, Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy and Credit Union Law teams in the Madison office. She earned her law degree from Fordham University School of Law.

Kasper is a member of the Business and Commercial Litigation Team in the Milwaukee office. He earned his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law.

Malugade is a member of the Labor and Employment Team in the Milwaukee office where she assists employers with a wide range of labor and employment law matters, including employment terminations, discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes, occupational health and safety regulation compliance, arrest and conviction record discrimination, covenants not to compete, contracts, and unfair labor practices. She earned her law degree from Marquette University Law School.

Stafford Rosenbaum promotes Allen to partner

Madison-based Stafford Rosenbaum LLP has named Susan Allen as a partner.

Allen practices in the firm’s Milwaukee office. Her practice focuses on litigation, including products liability defense, general commercial litigation and vehicle warranty litigation. She also practices in the area of municipal law and has served as a municipal prosecutor in Milwaukee- and Madison-area municipalities and often represents municipalities and municipal insurers with respect to liability claims.

Allen earned her law degree from Marquette University Law School.

Godfrey & Kahn elects 8 new shareholders

Milwaukee-based Godfrey & Kahn S.C. has elected Jeffrey Billings, Jennifer Gregor, Margaret Kurlinski, Jason Kuwayama, John McDonald, Laura Meronk, Andy Oettinger and Jed Roher as the firm’s newest shareholders.

Billings is a shareholder in the firm’s Estate Planning and Estate and Trust Administration Practice Groups. His practice is concentrated in the areas of estate and gift tax planning, business succession planning, fiduciary income taxation, charitable giving and private foundation work, probate, estate and trust administration, retirement benefit and life insurance planning, the negotiation of prenuptial and marital property agreements, and same-sex planning. Billings received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.

Gregor is a shareholder in the firm’s Intellectual Property and Litigation Practice Groups, and is the co-chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Working Group. She is a registered patent attorney who assists clients with all aspects of intellectual property, including procurement, clearance, and enforcement. She received her law degree from DePaul University School of Law.

Kurlinski is a shareholder in Godfrey & Kahn’s Labor and Employment Practice Group. She assists clients with a variety of labor and employment matters, including the management of day-to-day employment matters, drafting and enforcing restrictive covenant agreements, administering family and medical leave laws, litigating federal and state discrimination claims, conducting unlawful harassment investigations, and drafting affirmative action plans. Kurlinski received her law degree from Washington University School of Law.

Kuwayama is a shareholder in the Banking and Financial Institutions Practice Group. He focuses his practice on bank mergers and acquisitions, asset purchases and sales, bank regulation and compliance, and general securities matters. Kuwayama received his law degree from Marquette University Law School.

McDonald is a shareholder in Godfrey & Kahn’s Corporate Practice Group and co-chair of the Emerging Companies Practice Group. He counsels clients on all stages of a business, from formation, financing and capitalization to exit strategies. He received his law degree from George Washington University National Law Center.

Meronk is a shareholder in Godfrey & Kahn’s Corporate and Real Estate Practice Groups. She advises business clients from a variety of industries, including manufacturers, real estate developers, financial institutions and commercial property owners. She earned her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Oettinger is a shareholder in firm’s the Litigation Practice Group. He represents clients in a variety of business disputes, with a focus on the enforcement of creditors’ rights, distressed debt and workouts, real estate litigation, business torts, and financial services. Oettinger received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Roher is a shareholder in the Tax and Employee Benefits and Corporate Practice Groups and is co-chair of the Emerging Companies Practice Group. He focuses his practice on helping his business clients achieve their financing, growth and exit objectives in a pragmatic and efficient manner. He earned his law degree from New York University Law School.

Tracey Wood & Associates adds new associate

Tracey Wood & Associates, an OWI and criminal defense law firm in Madison, has added Adam Nero to its team.

Nero joins the firm after graduating from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minn.

The firm, which opened its doors in February 2014, has also moved to a bigger office space at 1 South Pinckney St., Suite 950, Madison.

Perri named SPD’s Appellate Division director

Jeremy Perri was recently appointed Appellate Division director of the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office.

Since receiving his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2002, Perri worked in the agency’s Trial and Appellate divisions. Prior to his appointment, he was the regional attorney manager of the SPD’s Milwaukee Appellate Office.

Bohrer Joins Ruder Ware

Wausau-based Ruder Ware LLSC has announced the addition of Steve Bohrer to its Eau Claire attorney team.

Bohrer has spent a major portion of his 25-year career in the Eau Claire area working in the public sector in a number of different roles. His background includes working as in-house counsel, a mediator/arbitrator for the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission, an attorney for the National Labor Relations Board, and most recently as Eau Claire’s assistant city attorney.

At Ruder Ware, he will work with public and private employers on labor and employment law matters. In addition, he will work with public sector clients providing counsel on open meetings, public records, and other government issues.

Hupy and Abraham lawyers honored by the National Top Trial Lawyers Association

Ten Hupy and Abraham attorneys were recently honored by the National Top Trial Lawyers Association for 2015.

Hupy and Abraham President Michael Hupy and Vice President Jason Abraham received honors and were named to the National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 list for the state of Wisconsin. Attorneys Chad Kreblin, Brandon Derry, Todd Korb, Thomas Kyle, Robert Domol and Timothy Schelwat also made the Wisconsin Top 100 list. Attorney Vito Manicioto was listed on the Top 100 for Illinois.

In addition to the Top 100 list, Kreblin and Domol were both selected to the Wisconsin Top 40 under 40 list, while Tyler Patrick was named to the Iowa Top 40. The Top 40 list honors attorneys that are under the age of 40 and have displayed exemplary trial results and career leadership.

Neider & Boucher celebrates 20 years

Madison-based Neider & Boucher S.C. is celebrating 20 years of business in 2015. The firm was started in 1995 by attorneys Joe Boucher and Charles Neider.

The firm has grown from 10 to 22 attorneys in its 20 years, and has added a variety of practice areas.
