Corporations — cooperatives

Cooperative Care appeals summary judgment in favor of Joyce Vetrone which provided that Vetrone is entitled to receive the balance of her equity in the cooperative in four equal installments. The circuit court concluded that Cooperative Care was obligated by its bylaws and its written policy in effect at the time Vetrone’s membership terminated to repay Vetrone’s equity in the cooperative over the course of five years and that a later amendment to the policy could not be applied retroactively to suspend such payments. We disagree and reverse. Not recommended for publication in the official reports.
