Motor Vehicles – OWI — reasonable suspicion

The State of Wisconsin appeals a circuit court order granting Anthony James Wilson’s motion to suppress evidence in its case alleging fourth offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and fourth offense operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration. The State argues that, contrary to the circuit court’s conclusion, the arresting officer had reasonable suspicion to stop and detain Wilson. This court agrees and therefore reverses the order and remands for further proceedings. This opinion will not be published.
