While her practice areas include labor and employment law in addition to immigration, Doris Brosnan believes the immigration system needs an overhaul.

“This is one area of my practice where I feel like this country needs significant overhaul of its immigration so that it can work for the United States people. That includes the business communities that I represent,” said Brosnan, a shareholder in von Briesen & Roper’s Labor and Employment Law Section. “I practice in constant hope that some day the federal government will make these laws work for Americans.”

Brosnan provides strategic counsel to employers navigating hiring and retaining international candidates. She handles both non-immigrant and immigrant visa matters, including H-1B, L-1, O-1 and PERM processes, while helping employers develop and maintain compliant immigration programs.
