Democratic President nominee Kamala Harris wasn’t in Chicago Tuesday night at the DNC. Instead she pledged to “chart a new way forward'” in a DNC appearance in Milwaukee at the Fiserv Forum with more than 15,000 in attendance, reported the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel who noted Tuesday’s rally was the largest in Wisconsin and the nation, to date.

The rally attended by Harris and Vice President nominee Tim Walz kicked off in Milwaukee around 8 p.m. and was followed by a DNC watch party.

Also in attendance Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson, and Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton.

The Wisconsin rally came as no surprise as Wisconsin once again is back in the national spotlight at as critical battleground state for the 2024 Presidential election.

As previously reported by the Wisconsin Law Journal, Trump was in the same arena only a month ago at the Republican National Convention.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel also reported Harris has put a focus on Wisconsin since launching her campaign as she held her first rally as the nominee in West Allis and then in Eau Claire.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
