Vice President Kamala Harris has enough Democratic delegates to become the Democratic party’s, according to an Associated Press (AP) survey obtained by the Wisconsin Law Journal.

According to the AP, the survey was taken after President Joe Biden’s decision was announced to step down from the race.

“Adios crooked Joe,” President Donald Trump emailed his supporters over the weekend.

Harris was endorsed by Biden moments after stepped out of the race.

Harris is expected visit Milwaukee Tuesday.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Tuesday’s visit marks her first campaign appearance as the presumptive Democratic nominee However, Harris’ visit Tuesday will be the fifth time she’s campaigned in Wisconsin in 2024 as Vice President. It’ll be her ninth time in Wisconsin since becoming vice president, the Journal Sentinel reported.

The AP has not formally called Harris the new presumptive nominee, as convention delegates are still free to vote for the candidate of their choice at the convention in August.

Democrats previously announced a virtual roll call may be held ahead of the Chicago convention scheduled for Aug. 19-22 in Chicago, less than 3 weeks prior to the American Bar Association annual meeting and conference in Chicago.
