For Robert Driscoll, the draw to employment law stems from his small business-owner father, and a mother with an interest in the law.

A shareholder at Reinhart’s Milwaukee office, Driscoll represents small- and medium-sized businesses with their labor and employment law matters. He finds the most gratification in his practice when he helps clients navigate the cause and effect of their legal options.

“Telling clients what their legal duties are is only one aspect of the job,” he said. “Often, even those duties are not 100% clear. The more gratifying aspect is helping them work through what to do with that information.”

Driscoll credits his colleagues in Reinhart’s Labor & Employment Group for the profound impact they’ve had on his career, finding immense value in a collaborative environment.

Taking his legal expertise and focus on employment law outside of his practice, Driscoll serves on the Board of Directors for the GPS Education Partners. The organization aids students with real-world, but meaningful employment experience in technical careers like manufacturing.

“Being a small part of bridging the gap between the schools and the employers has been immensely rewarding,” Driscoll said.
