Wisconsin lawmaker receives ‘scales of justice’ award from State Bar

Wisconsin lawmaker receives ‘scales of justice’ award from State Bar

State Rep. Evan Goyke accepted a ‘Scales of Justice award’ given by the State Bar of Wisconsin.

The award honors individuals devoted to enhancing justice accessibility for all Wisconsin citizens.

“Recipients demonstrate strong commitment to improving legal services and advocating for fairness within the state’s legal system. Through their efforts, they inspire positive change and uphold the principles of justice for the benefit of Wisconsin’s communities,” Goyke noted in a written statement on Wednesday.

In response to accepting the “Scales of Justice” award, Goyke a Milwaukee Democrat released the following statement:

“I am immensely grateful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with the …. State Bar (of Wisconsin) and its esteemed members, and I am deeply honored to receive the ‘Scales of Justice’ award. This recognition underscores our shared commitment to enhancing the administration of justice and expanding access to legal resources for all Wisconsin citizens,” Goyke said.

“I remain steadfast in my resolve to continue our efforts in the pursuit of justice. Together, we will persist in advocating for the rights of all individuals and working towards a more equitable future for our community,” Goyke added.
