15-year-old shot in Milwaukee just blocks away from police station

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred Thursday at about 1:15 a.m. in the 1100 block of W. Locust Street, less than 6 blocks away from the Milwaukee Police District 5 Station.

Milwaukee Police told the Wisconsin Law Journal that the 15-year-old victim was conveyed to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

According to police an ongoing investigation is looking for unknown suspects.
