On Tuesday, a Federal judge in Chicago sentenced Sheldon Bains to three years in prison, according to court documents obtained by the Wisconsin Law Journal.

According to court documents, a parole officer visited Bains’ Chicago home and located a “Trump gun” hidden under a mattress.

The pistol featured Donald Trump’s face engraved on the handle. Bains was on parole for a robbery conviction, according to court documents.

The gun was owned by a relative, but it was stolen a few months earlier, according to court documents.

According to the indictment, the firearm traveled across state lines.

Last year, Fox News reported the Trump campaign was forced to walk back a claim that he purchased a Glock pistol at a South Carolina gun shop. The alleged purchase was a gun similar to the one described in Bain’s court documents.

Trump’s legal bills have been adding up to the point where his campaign was raising funds by selling bibles and other Trump swag, according to various media reports.

“Let’s Make America Pray Again,” Trump wrote in a March 26 Truth Social post, the Charlotte Observer reported last month.
