A California DoubleTree by Hilton property managed by Hilton Worldwide is under fire for hosting a right-wing extremist event against Diversity Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and LGBTQ+.

A group tweeted, “In 2023 @HiltonHotels proudly received a 100% score on @HRC Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equity Index for their leadership in LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion.”

“So why is their @DoubleTreeTSB hotel in Torrance, CA hosting anti-LGBTQ+/anti-D.E.I. extremists this Sunday,” Conejo Valley Antifascists Tweeted on April 3.

Then the group Tweeted, “According to @HiltonHotels  President and CEO, Chris Nassetta, the Hilton Code of Conduct states every Hilton Team is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to their guests, owners, communities, and each other. Did @DoubleTreeTSB  not get the memo?”

The group sent another Tweet, “Does @DoubleTreeTSB really think hosting the @splcenter  designated anti-LGBTQ+ hate figure Chaya Raichik and anti-D.E.I. racist Chris Rufo creates a supportive environment for its employees and a welcoming space for the communities Hilton Hotels serve?”

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center on Friday, announced the addition of Chaya Raichik, the creator of the contentious Libs of TikTok account, to its list of extremists watch list.

The group posted a total of seven Tweets. The fifth tweet called out Hilton, once again.

Back in 2022, Steve Bannon headlined an antisemitic conference at another Doubletree by Hilton location in California.

The Wisconsin Law Journal reached out to Hilton requesting comment. Hilton did not response prior to publication.

As previously reported by the Wisconsin Law Journal, a Milwaukee Attorney said she was discriminated against by Airbnb. Her reservation was at a DoubleTree by Hilton in South Florida.

The recent attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion are reminiscent of 1930’s Nazi Germany, said a Jewish Holocaust survivor, in a previous Wisconsin Law Journal article.
