Gov. Evers continues to seek applicants for Rusk County District Attorney

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers previously announced that he is seeking applicants for Rusk County District Attorney. The governor announced Thursday he is accepting applications on a rolling basis until the vacancy is filled.

The appointment will fill a vacancy being created by District Attorney Ellen Anderson’s resignation, effective Feb. 9, 2024. The new district attorney will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term that ends January 2025.
