Jim Peterson has been appointed as a vice chair of Foley & Lardner’s business law department.
Peterson, a partner at the firm and member of the transitions practice group, currently serves as the Milwaukee office’s business law office chair. He joins Leigh Riley and David Sanders as part of the business law department’s vice chair leadership, succeeding Robert Sarfatis.
Peterson’s practice includes acquisitions, divestitures, investment of private equity and venture capital funds and general corporate law. He represents private equity acquirers as well as emerging and mature businesses.
