A Lindner & Marsack shareholder has been appointed to the Native Nations Law Task Force, an initiative that connects parties involved in defending native nations faced with civil lawsuits. The Milwaukee firm announced Daniel Finerty’s position on the task force in a news release Wednesday.

The firm said Finerty has more than 20 years of experience with employment litigation and experience defending sovereign nations in employment disputes. The DRI appointed Finerty to the task force.

The Native Nations Law Task Force provides networking and educational opportunities for defense litigators, tribal in-house counsel and insurance companies defending native nations faced with civil lawsuits in tribal jurisdictions. The task force launched in 2017 and has been working with DRI since 2018.
