Quarles & Brady’s Rikaela Greane, an associate in the firm’s Madison office, has been elected to the Public Utilities Section Board of the Wisconsin State Bar.
The Public Utilities Section is made up of attorneys who work in the field of energy, water, and telecommunications law and regulation. Greane will serve a three-year term on the board, which began July 1.
Greane is a member of the firm’s Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Practice Group. She focuses on litigation related to energy matters. Most recently, she represented Wisconsin’s largest energy utility before the Wisconsin Public Service Commission, advised utility clients on state and federal energy regulation matters, and sought regulatory approval of retail electric suppliers in multiple states.
Greane is involved with the Women’s Energy Network and is a member of the Madison Ballet Board of Directors. She received her Bachelor of Arts from St. Olaf College and her law degree from Vermont Law School.
