As a family law attorney, Tiffany Highstrom believes in finding practical remedies to some of the biggest difficulties her clients are facing in life.

In her 14 years of practice, Highstrom has handled cases dealing with divorce, child custody and visitation, property division and paternity-acknowledgment actions, as well as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. She has also served as a guardian ad litem in family, juvenile and probate court.

She considers counseling clients through some of the most trying times in their lives to be the most important work she can do as a lawyer.

“I get the most satisfaction for my work in coming up with creative solutions for my clients to everyday problems,” Highstrom said. “The difference from the beginning of a case to the end of the case can be extraordinary and incredibly rewarding.”

Highstrom graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2004 and was recently made partner at Madison-based Stafford Rosenbaum. The firm’s managing partner, Christopher Hughes, said clients’ best interests are always at the forefront of Highstrom’s mind. He commended Highstrom for her “dedication to providing excellent client service and achieving the best possible results for clients.”

He said Highstrom is committed to benefiting society and will jump at opportunities to help others within her areas of expertise.

Highstrom has also taken on various leadership roles in industry organizations. She has served as a board member and chairwoman-elect of the Wisconsin Bar Association’s Family Law Section and also was a member of the bar’s National High School Mock Trial Executive Committee and a member of the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families’ Child Support Guidelines Advisory Panel.

“Tiffany has proven that a positive attitude and hard work can help bring you far in a short period of time,” Hughes said. “She is the epitome of what it means to be a strong role model for other women in the law.”
