A magazine has recognized 50 law firms for retaining and promoting women lawyers, and four of those firms are either based in Wisconsin or have offices here.
Working Mother announced Tuesday that Foley & Lardner, Husch Blackwell, Quarles & Brady and Perkins Coie were among the “2017 Best Law Firms for Women.”
According to the magazine, the 50 firms lead the industry in having flexible-work arrangements, offering generous parental-leave pay and ensuring that lawyers who take advantage of those options are not prevented from being on a leadership or partner positions.
The magazine selected the law firms using a survey of firms that have 50 or more lawyers in the U.S. The firms, which applied to participate in the survey, supplied data from 2016.
The results of the magazine’s survey can be found here: http://www.workingmother.com/best-law-firms-for-women-2017.
