Gov. Scott Walker has appointed an assistant district attorney to fill a spot on Polk County’s circuit court bench.
Walker on Tuesday appointed Polk County Assistant District Attorney Daniel Tolan to serve on the Polk County Circuit Court. Tolan replaces Judge Molly GaleWyrick, who retired.
Tolan, who lives in the village of Luck, has more than 19 years of legal experience, including time in spent in private practice working on family, criminal and real estate matters. He has also been an assistant district attorney in Burnett and Washburn counties.
Tolan earned his law degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minn.
