The Wisconsin Supreme Court will decide Tuesday whether to reinstate the license of a Grafton attorney who was suspended for two years over securities fraud.

The high court suspended Richard Kranitz’s license in 2014, prohibiting him from practicing law for two years. The discipline stemmed from Kranitz’s federal felony conviction in 2013 for conspiracy to commit securities fraud. He was accused of security fraud for actions he had taken as a director and attorney for China Wi-Max Communications Inc.

Kranitz filed a petition for reinstatement March 21. A public hearing on the matter was held in July.
