MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker will decide between four former Wisconsin circuit court judges to fill an opening spot on the Government Accountability Board.

Board member Michael Brennan is seeking a second six-year term on the board that oversees elections in Wisconsin. His name and three others were sent Tuesday to Gov. Scott Walker, who will make the appointment.

Three other former judges, John Franke and Victor Manian, both of Milwaukee County, and Michael Nowakowski, of Dane County, are seeking to fill Brennan’s spot.

According to state law the governor must appoint one of the four finalists to serve on the board.

The finalists were selected from a field of five applicants by a selection committee.
