The Milwaukee Bar Association will host a forum March 6 for two court commissioners vying for a soon-to-be vacant circuit judge seat.
Court commissioners Cedric Cornwall and Laura Gramling Perez are running to fill the seat vacated by Judge Michael Goulee, who will retire at the end of his term. The forum, which both candidates are set to participate, is open to MBA members and the public. Audience questions will be allowed, according to a news release.
Assistant District Attorney Janet Protasiewicz, who is running unopposed to fill retired Judge Charles Kahn’s seat, also plans to speak at the forum.
The forum will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the bar association’s headquarters, 424 E. Well St., Milwaukee.
