Milwaukee County’s governmental offices, including the courthouse, will close Tuesday due to the frigid temperatures.
Those with a court date Tuesday should show up at the same time on Wednesday, according to a news release from County Executive Chris Abele’s office.
“Essential employees,” such as sheriff’s deputies and some in the Facilities Management department, are expected to report to work, according to the release.
This is the second time this month that the county has closed offices due to the extreme temperatures.
