MILWAUKEE (AP) – A federal grand jury has charged a Wisconsin man and his son with prostituting multiple women and underage girls.

An indictment unsealed Thursday charges 45-year-old David Moore and 22-year-old Najee Moore with conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking, sex trafficking of a minor and other crimes.

The U.S. Department of Justice says in a statement that the indictment replaces an earlier one in which Najee Moore alone was charged. The department says David Moore encouraged his son to engage in sex trafficking.

Federal public defender Daniel Stiller represents David Moore. He said Moore has pleaded not guilty and they are looking forward to discovery and moving the case forward.

An attorney listed in court records as representing Najee Moore did not immediately respond to phone and email messages requesting comment.
