Gov. Scott Walker’s office is accepting applications for those interested in being appointed as a judge in Waupaca and Dunn counties.
The appointee in Waupaca County will replace Circuit Judge John Hoffman, who will retire on Nov. 29, according to a news release from Walker’s office. In Dunn County, Judge William Stewart Jr. is retiring the same day.
Those interested in applying can find information at Walker’s website. The deadline to apply for the Dunn County seat is Nov. 29. For Waupaca County, the deadline is Dec. 2.
Recommendations for the position are made by Walker’s judicial selection advisory committee.
