Criminal Procedure — plea withdrawal — factual basis

Craig Ahlman appeals a judgment of conviction for possession of child pornography, contrary to Wis. Stat. § 948.12(1m), and an order denying his postconviction motion. We reverse because the circuit court failed to establish a factual basis for Ahlman’s guilty plea. Ahlman has therefore demonstrated a manifest injustice and is entitled to plea withdrawal. This opinion will not be published.
