Insurance – coverage — bad faith — damages

First American Title Insurance Company appeals a judgment, entered upon a jury verdict, awarding John and Jane Stevenson $29,738.49 in compensatory damages and $1,000,000 in punitive damages, and an order denying in part First American’s postverdict motions. First American challenges certain rulings made by the circuit court prior to trial, a special verdict answer, and the amount of damages awarded by the jury. For the reasons discussed below, we affirm. Not recommended for publication in the official reports.
