Nicole Druckrey, a partner in Quarles & Brady LLP’s Milwaukee office, was elected to the board of directors of Adoption Resources Wisconsin.

Druckrey practices in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group and focuses on unfair trade practices. She received her law degree from the University of Minnesota.

• William Jennaro, of W.A. Jennaro Law LLC, Milwaukee, won the Milwaukee Bar Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Jennaro, who began his legal career as an assistant district attorney in Milwaukee County, has been in the legal community since 1968. He established the public defender program in the Children’s Court of Milwaukee County.  He also spent 12 years on the bench in Milwaukee County, first as a county court judge and then as a circuit court judge. He left the bench for private practice in 1984.

• Jacob Manian joined the firm of Fox, O’Neill & Shannon SC, Milwaukee, as an associate in the litigation practice and will concentrate on commercial litigation.

Manian earned his law degree in 2007 from Marquette University Law School.

• Thomas Shorter, shareholder at Godfrey & Kahn SC, Milwaukee, was appointed chairman of the Health Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Shorter earned his law degree from Northeastern University in 1996.

• Vitek & Probst SC is a new Milwaukee-based firm focused on family law in southeastern Wisconsin.

Nina Vitek and Jane Probst have nearly 50 years combined legal experience. Both have practiced their entire careers in the Milwaukee area. The firm represents clients in a broad spectrum of family law including divorce, legal separation, custody, child support, paternity, grandparents’ rights, adoptions, guardianships, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and international jurisdictional matters.

Vitek is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Law School, and Probst earned her law degree from Marquette University Law School.

• Aaron Hall and Claire Hartley joined Davis & Kuelthau SC’s litigation department as associate attorneys and will practice out of the firm’s Milwaukee office.

Hall has trial experience as an associate district attorney with the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office and as an associate attorney on the civil litigation team with Hostak, Henzl & Bichler SC. Hall earned a law degree from Marquette University Law School.

Hartley worked with Judge Mel Flanagan and as an associate district attorney with the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office, primarily handling cases in Children’s Court. Hartley earned her law degree from Marquette University.

• Crystal Pogorzelski joined Davis & Kuelthau as a paralegal in the litigation department. Pogorzelski worked as an assistant to the litigation group for more than eight years.

• Robert Kuelthau was named a Five Star Wealth Manager for 2012. The Five Star award recognizes service professionals who provide quality services to clients. Kuelthau has more than 50 years of estate planning and corporate services experience. His practice focuses on providing legal counsel and preparation of contracts and agreements related to estate and trust planning, real estate issues and general business and corporate organization and operation.

Kuelthau earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School.

• Kathleen Avoles joined the law firm of Bakke Norman SC, New Richmond. Avoles will be practicing in criminal defense, personal injury, family law and general litigation.

She earned her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
