FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) — A teenager has pleaded no contest in a Fond du Lac County crash that killed three of her friends.

WLUK-TV reports 18-year-old Carly Ottery of Campbellsport entered her plea Friday.

Ottery was charged with three counts of homicide by negligent use of a vehicle.

Nine girls — all students at Campbellsport High School — were in the sport utility vehicle Ottery was driving last February. Fifteen-year-old Sabrina Stahl, 16-year-old Katie Berg and 17-year-old Caitlin Scannell were killed.

Special prosecutor Christian Gossett said both sides reached a plea deal and he will ask the judge for five years probation.

Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 5.
