GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — A lawsuit related to a 2006 explosion that killed two people in Ellison Bay will be considered by the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Five explosions in July 2006 killed a Michigan couple and injured several others. Investigators determined a severed propane line caused the blasts. No criminal charges were filed.
The victims filed a civil lawsuit against Wisconsin Public Service Corp. and the company it had contracted with, Arby Construction, to provide excavation and boring services.
The high court is expected to hear arguments on a dispute between the companies and their insurance carriers about coverage on Jan. 12
WLUK-TV in Green Bay reports a decision will be issued several weeks after that.
