Eastern District Bar Association 8th Annual Meeting

A record crowd of more than 250 people attended the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association’s 8th Annual meeting and presentation on April 29 at the Milwaukee Athletic Club. The annual awards were highlighted by a heartfelt introduction of the Myron L. Gordon Lifetime Achievement Award by Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge Richard J. Sankovitz to 7th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Terence T. Evans (pictured left). The veteran judge of 37 years assumed senior status earlier this year and took an emotional walk down memory lane in his acceptance speech. He praised the work of numerous colleagues and attorney he encountered during his tenure on both the state and federal bench and thanked his wife of 44 years for her support and love.

Also honored was the Milwaukee City Attorney’s Office with the Outstanding Service Award, attorneys Anthony S. Baish and Jennifer C. Susek with the Judge John W. Reynolds Community Building Award, attorneys Bruce G. Arnold and Peter C. Blain with the Judge Dale E. Ihlenfeldt Bankruptcy Award and attorney Joseph R. Wall with the Judge Robert W. Warren Public Service Award.
