Rebecca Frihart Kennedy, a litigation attorney at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren SC, is very proud of her work with a team of attorneys that obtained a favorable jury verdict and injunctive relief for a commercial real estate developer in a case involving environmental claims against a municipal sewerage district. The case challenged the principles of municipal immunity, Kennedy said, adding that she hopes the decision will have broader application beyond this case.
Kennedy, who graduated from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2003, is part of her firm’s Product Liability and Safety group. She serves a variety of business clients including machinery and medical device manufacturers, real estate developers and financial institutions on matters related to product liability, waivers and indemnification agreements, employment disputes and other litigation issues.
Kennedy is committed to pro bono work, such as helping victims of domestic abuse obtain restraining orders.
